Seeking feedback / sensations / observations…. between Rocky Mountain Altitude (new carbon 29er) versus latest generation Specailzed Enduro… especially anybody who’s ridden both in size Large / S4.

Narrowed my search down to these two bikes and want to pounce while they are still available.

Intended application is a mix of bike park and rowdy trails and freeride, and the occasional chill trail ride. I value jumping, boosting, side hits, drops, i.e. playfulness… but also going fast and progressing in that dimension, too.

Anyobody want to share!? Thanks in advance for any insights!!

Can't go wrong with either. They both excellent at descents and both excellent at climbing.

While I don't have a 2021 29er, I have a 2019 27.5 altitude and it's incredible. The bikes are built incredibly well and the suspension kinematics work well with a large air shock or coil.

A friend has a 2021 Enduro and says the same.

Unfortunately it's not a back to back comparison, should give some insight.

I do like how the enduro has the down tube storage compartment!

Ridden both. Really love the way the altitude handles. Somehow more enjoyable to ride!
The enduro is a downhill machine.
Biggest pro of the enduro in my opinion is the downtube compartment.
Rocky is more poppy?
