~180lbs suited up on a Pivot Switchblade V2. Intermediate rider in SoCal, lots of loose over hard and rocks.
Front - DHF MaxxGrip EXO+ 2.5 at 21 p.s.i. Rear - DHRII MaxxGrip EXO+ 2.4 at 24 p.s.i.
Based on some other responses in here, I'm going to try running slightly lower and see how it goes. I used to run 19 p.s.i. in the front and noticed no difference going to 21, so I just left it.
I'm 100kg ready to roll. Running 30psi front and rear. Previously ran 25psi front and rear for normal riding in NW Arkansas. Increased to 30psi F/R because of bunch of rim strikes during most recent Enduro races.
35mm ibis carbon rims. Previously running 2.5 wt exo+ minion dhf F/R. Now assegai 2.5 wt exo+ front and about to mount aggressor double-down for the rear.
Since posting my reply I’ve managed to dent two back rims. One was a DT 1900, with a Vittoria airliner, and was easily fixed. The other was a low-spec aluminum Roval with CushCore XC and might be folded beyond repair.
Takeaway: never publicly mention how long it’s been since you dented a rim.

I’m 165lbs. I run Maxxis Forecasters 2.35 front and 2.2 rear tubeless, no inserts on my Kona Hei Hei 29er. I just run 30 psi front and rear. I’ve experimented with less but would get flats on the sharp rocks when my tire would bottom out. I’m had no issues with flats at 30 psi and grip is decent.

My rear ibis carbon rim exploded 2 days ago.
Which wheels do you have, I've had my carbon 741s for 5 years no issue
Mine are the 942 carbon rims. They've been fantastic. I acquired them in February of 2019 and have cased a zillion jumps, dinged a ton of rock strikes, been anything but elegant with them. I hope I can get some equivalents.
