Trek Slash Carbon Frame goes from glossy to matte overnight

The frame on my sons 2019 project one Slash went from glossy and perfect to scuffed and matte overnight and he’s pretty aggravated. Does this happen? He didn’t use anything different recently to wash it. He mostly uses water and occasionally the pink stuff. My bike did this slowly and gradually and I thought it was just the way I treat it (not nearly as careful as he is) but this happened overnight and I don’t really know what to tell him.

Any suggestions? Ride wrap?

Yeah, you could Maxima SC1 it for an easy solution. Some automotive rubbing compound/polish/wax treatment can work but I'm not going to necessarily suggest someone random on the internet try it - do a test patch and see how it goes.
