Bought these from Jenson in March, started peeling in July. I just put a ticket in, haven't heard back yet.

I haven't had to deal with Jenson's customer service or warranty replacement. They do not have the wheelset in stock. Should I push for a partial refund? Is that something they will do? it just seems cosmetic and I do like the wheelset, I'd be happy taking some cash back and living with the flaking clear coat.

I haven't found anything online about similar issues reported. Could this potentially be more serious?

I bought this wheelset from REI last month and returned it cause i read a similar report. I ended up finding a set WTB S29 STI rims laced with SLX hubs for $200 cheaper....The MT 620 available from REI doesn't seem to have this issue.

If/when I wash them it's a simple hose down with water. Honestly, if I thought it was something I did I wouldn't bother contacting jenson.
