Just picked up a new SB115, the G2 brakes are lacking, so looking into brake upgrades.

Was going to change the rotors to 200mm F/R, along with metallic pads.

Looks like I can change the fox fork to 200mm with no issues, but having a hard time finding a definitive answer on the rear. Will the frame take a 200mm rotor? The yeti site says 180, not sure if that’s a hard & fast rule or more of a suggestion. Anyone tried to fit a 200?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Call the good people at Yeti and ask. A human will answer the phone. You’ll probably get your answer in just a few seconds.

I never circled back on this, but talked to my local Yeti dealer and they recommended not to do 200 on the back. So the FAQs on the Yeti site and the dealer say don’t do 200, that’s enough for me to stay at 180 on the back. I did change the front to 200 which was in spec for the Fox 34 fork.

I moved to sintered pads and seems to be a decent improvement over the organic pads.
