Hi, I am wanting to know how to value your bike before selling on the likes of eBay or Pinkbike’s BuySell. The bike I am interested in valuing is my 26” 2013 Trek Fuel Ex 7 in size medium. It has been heavily upgraded, in very good condition, and been well maintained.

Upgrades done:
150mm Brand X dropper post
Shimano 1x11 (11-51t) drivetrain
RaceFace 34t chainring
RaceFace bar and stem (wide and short)
Schwalbe Hans Damf tyres
DMR deathgrips
DMR V8 pedals

It’s a bit small for me and so am considering upgrading.
What would ye expect to pay for a bike like this?

I wouldn't expect to get any more than £600 at best.

It's worth looking at similar listings of previously sold bikes to gauge a fair price. Sadly, 8 years is a long time in the bike world, and geometries, technology and wheel sizes have changed loads since your bike was new. You'll have to prepare yourself for the fact it may not be worth as much as you think it is.

But if you've ragged it and had fun on it over those 8 years, it really doesn't matter if you recoup even a fraction of that money.
