Used Impacts some years ago, heavy, ugly but lasted 3 or 4 years, no doubt the best shoe ever!
Next: Impact vxi lasted 9 months
Switched to clips for 2 years

Back to flats
510 Freerider pro for the last 18 months and soles are full of holes and ripped wich I already glued to hang a couple of rides more.

Been looking to Ride concepts, Leatt and Shimano. Price is the same as 510s, 20€ more or less here and there, but are they any good? Besides the sole grip, I really like how light the freerider pros are, and 18 months grabbing pins isn’t that bad. Only thinking about trying something diferent.

I m using One up composite pedals if that matters

Thanks for any advice
Cheers

The new specialized roost 2fo is supposed to be really good. Have the freerider pro’s now, but I have always felt that my normal freeriders held on to the pedals more, maybe because of the more flexible sole.

There's a review on youtube, RC vise vs 5:10 Freerider where the Vice comes out ahead.
