.... a rare thing

Can't find 29er 2.4 or wider anywhere. Not the ones with decent casing anyway. Anyone know why? or when they'll be in the UK? I am guessing brexit + lorry driver shortages are causing issues.

Any alternatives that i can get my hands on? Michelin Wild Enduros are hard to find at the moment too.

from what i hear Tyres are the latest shortages due to the pandemic.

Whether brexit has a part to play, i am unsure, but most likely its the knock on effect of some many factories being shut due to Covid. Then playing catch-up, whilst trying to also supply the massive increase in bike sales.

So an all round cluster-Fudge.

I am in the same boat, need a Big Betty, but cant get one for love nor money!

Once you click the 'in stock' option, there isnt much left, unless you want super gravity or downhill.

But better than nothing! Big Grin

tires can be hard to come by and the reason I bought an extra set for both bikes just because they are hard to source at the moment.

Brexit and lorry driver shortages are the same problem really....and Covid of course. Try iCycles in Innerleithen. They had decent stock of Supertrail and Supergravity Schwables a couple of weeks ago. Pricey though,

Merlin did come good in the end, but only after about a month. They had a fair few 27.5, but no 29er ones for ages. Managed to get one a couple of days ago.

I’ve had good luck on R-2 bike website for tyres. MM used to be my go to front tyre…until I found the Assegai…which is even better…I would also say the Vittoria Mazza is very good as well.
