i honestly didn't know people were still buying GT's... not being a smart ass; a legimate question...

What's the appeal? given all the other choices, why choose GT?

I bought mine because i was looking second hand and mine was a really good deal, it was barely used when i bought it. It had a better spec and a cheaper price than others i was looking at!

If i was buying brand new - i know you can get much better for a similar price but in the circumstance mine was great!

It's nothing special, but it's almost the perfect bike for me. It's cost me around $650 with new pedals, shoes, and tires.

Sorry, but why's everyone so pleased with their Chucker/Tempest's?
I can't stand mine! It's heavy as, and the only good thing is the (mildly) slack head angle.
I know everyone's got pimped parts on theirs, but still.... just look at it....

Why the hell did you buy it, if you hate it? It's an ok frame for beginning freeride. Not very good for street, obviously.
