Hi everyone.

Im looking to get into the world of dirt jumping and going to be building up my P3 frame over time. Ive found some confusion while searching wheels. Ive noticed that there are almost no dirt jump specific wheels, unless im missing something obvious. Can any regular thru-axle rear wheel with the correct spacing be converted to a bolt-on design that DJ bikes need? Or is there a special standard for DJ?
Also does anyone have any affordable wheel recommendations? (Front and rear)

Thanks guys!

No
You need to check your dropout size first. 10mm, 3/8" or 14mm
Some hubs use mail bolts, some have solid axles. Some can be converted. For example a hollow axle that uses a QR skewer through the center and bearing cones and jam nuts (think old MTB bikes) can be fitted with a longer solid axle and nuts for a horizontal drop out. Otherwise look for "single speed" hubs as a search term rather than "DJ"
