Hey, will be commuting in wetter weather and probably will go with staying warm when wet instead of trying in vain to keep feet dry. So, with that in mind, trying to figure out which xc/mtb/gravel spd shoes might dry out the quickest. Do the newer knit shoes dry any quicker than shoes with "traditional" uppers? Tri road shoes are out because I'd like to have tread with some traction, although I've definitely considered them; water shoes might be a good idea, but I don't like riding on platform pedals. Thoughts? Thanks!

I've found cheap lightweight shoes I'm happy to bung on the radiator, and sealskinz socks the best compromise for starting with dry feet on my way home.

I'm an MTB'er first & foremost, so use MTB cleats
& proper shoes, rather than disco slippers on all my bikes.

SPD sandals with sealskinz socks and over booties?
