Rail SuperDeluxe Thru Shaft Shox in a Slash 8 2019... good idea?

Hi all Trek suspension specialists...

Searching for options to improve the back end of my Slash 8 2019, I've comed across a Rail Super Deluxe Ultimate Thru Shaft Shox (new version, looks the same as the new Slash one), that I think would fit perfectly (plug and play ->trunnion, lower yoke incorporated, 230 x 57,5 mm) in my bike without any additional hardware (which to be honest, has me quite confused, not sure if the parts are the same for carbon and alloy versions Rolleyes ), and I'm wondering if the tune of the shock is so much different.

I've read that the e-bikes suspensions could be tuned to more compression due to the additional weight of the bike, but not so sure about that in this case.

Good reviews on the new Thru Shaft in the new Slash are making me think if it's worth it to a more complicated availability of spares and mount of standard Super Deluxe Ultimate.

Any thoughts?

Many thanks in advance
