110 - Commute, lap of Meatdraw and Rollercoaster on South Benson. Meatdraw hasn't gotten any less gnarly since last year! Damn those trails are fun. Wife cleaned all the gnar then went on to get a fifth overall on Rollercoaster. She's killing it on the bike lately.

8 - Cougar Ridge, 7.2 Miles, 1,800' climb. ONE SORE KNEE!

I couldn't sit on the couch any longer. I go in for knee surgery Monday, so I thought to myself, "f*ck it, how bad could I f*ck it up if I already have to have surgery?!!" lol lol

I had to scroll back to the beginning of March to find out how many rides I've done! Lame...LOL Was sooo good to get peddling again!

42: Sugar Momma & Bobcat out and back. Sugar Momma was in good shape, Bobcat was good until the bottom section where it was quite greasy.

111 - Rode in to open up another 50 meters of future trail opened up. ..and by that I mean I spent 5 hours throwing sticks and logs out of the way and hedge trimming bush lol
120 meters opened up so far, no actual dirt work done, a heck of alot of work to come

112 - Two full laps of South Benson with the wife. One of Meatcoaster and one of The Whole Duff. 26 km and 1100 meters, crashed at the top of The Whole Duff onto my elbow and seem to have upset my shoulder a little. Doesn't feel too bad, we'll see in the morning

59- More Ironman road miles. Ordered a bloody Powermeter rather than a coil shock for the Druid. I’ve changed.

Yikes! This XC season changed me. Went from looking at DH/freeride bikes to XC rockets and power meters.

Should clarify- half Ironman. I’m not mad. Off to Morzine in a few weeks so I’ll get the mtb back on track then.

I’m going to do some XC this winter back in the UK although there seem to be fewer races than there used to be. Guess everyone is an enduro-bro now.
