And so ends this BC trip. See ya again in September, Canada.
No Turnstyles!?
142
Nope…bit of a mistake on my part. PSA: if you’re in Nelson and have slogged* that high up Morning Mountain, skip the full Placenta descent and ride Turnstyles.
103- Took a pretty nasty spill continuing the 360 saga. Ended up ditching the bike weird and landing on my back/neck. Briefly thought I couldn't move my legs but ended up only walking away with road rash. Pretty stiff and sore but still rolling!
Glad your ok Florida, hopefully you feel ok tomorrow morning. Usually I feel alot worse the next day after a slam.
Thanks man and yea, it'll probably hurt like a bitch tomorrow, I'm just glad I walked away. I've never really truly been scared after a crash until now, but not being able to move my legs for a few seconds had my mind rushing through all the scenarios.
143 - Rode in to clear the overgrowth on the climber...grossly underestimated the amount of work it would be. Took me 5 hours of hedge trimming. It was the first time I had completely killed both 36v, 281wh batteries. Just woke up and can still barely use my arms
144 - Ride from home through Westwood into South Benson and then back up the freshly hedge trimmed climb trail into Westwood for a few laps then back home

glad you're ok dude. Thinking your life is going to be dramatically different...from this point forward....forever.....is something I can relate to
