Yea, the crash doesn't look terrible but I body slammed the lip of a jump and I guess I hit my head just right. Time to retire this helmet.

Look after your melon mate!

92- Road. Pretty hot here and everyone must have been on the beach as the roads were pretty quiet.

63: Husky Lap down Loamzilla, then a shuttle lap down Jean Guy. Good getting out before the sun and heat hit.

132- Recovery. Feeling pretty good considering the circumstances, just a bruised up left side.

185 - Probably the most challenging ride I've ever completed. Riding every mountain bike trail in the South Benson trail network. Almost 9 hours in the saddle completing 76 km and 3200 meters.

Have been doing this with my wife for the last three years, every time it gets harder as more trails are being opened.

Didn't do it with my wife this year however as she has been training for an ultra marathon coming up in September. So it was mostly solo with a few friends joining in for laps here and there and many friends watching my progress on strava beacon and heckling me over text messages. It was a pretty incredible day and it's going to take a while to catch up on calories lol

186 - "Recovery" day ride banging out 10.5 km and 330 meters of Doumont. ...beat my previous kom on Monkeys in the Mist by 15 seconds, maybe sore legs are the key..
