I'll answer my own question--this bike rules! The motor is smooth, quiet, and very powerful. It absolutely charges downhill and strikes a nice balance between plow-ability and agility. Very fun! Thanks, Pinkers.

Hell the previous model was tits, only assume each year they just get better. I demoed a dozen or so eMTB the RM was hands down my favorite motor. Unfortunately the price and availability didn't allow me to get one but maybe one day if they offer a Slayer version I might just make it happen.

Did you get one or just demo?

Bought the A30 and built it up with parts I had and a few new ones. Really a good deal, actually. There are plenty of sick non-motor pedal bikes that cost more, and I’m super stoked on the build I ended up with.

Oh thats sick!

I'm from the PNW yep you need the handguards up in MT or folding levers. Trees have a tendency to jump in front of anything with wheels.

Exactly! I don’t run hand guards on my other bikes, but when you’re taking the emtb into the hairiest zones around, you save knuckle flesh.

handguards rule. We have trails where brush completely envelops the trail. Some of those have thorns, some have ice- yeah we need handguards where we ride.

Behold!

That is easily the second coolest powerplay I have seen in my entire life.
