Hey,

From my old bike to my new one I will be going from Guide (2017) with 180/180 to Code RS (2022). I'm about 150 lbs. Which option do you think I should take:
- 200 (R)/180 (F),
- 200/200.

On a test bike I did find Code RSC + 200 being a bit too much but maybe I'll get use to the new braking power.
Thanks for your help!!

Better to have the extra power and not need it, than it not be there and do need it

200 front
180 rear

Definitely don’t put a smaller rotor in front than the rear.
I recently moved to 203 x 203 from 203 x 180 and like the feeling of the same size rotors. The bite feels more predictable, but does take some getting use to. Granted, I am not running the same brakes, but I think you will get similar results.

+1 Always bigger up front and/or just as big on the rear.

I'm running 203 front and 180 rear. I don't really need any more than I've got now but still eyeing up going 203 rear and adding a 4 pot caliper up front.

After briefly being under-braked and nearly not stopping a couple of times made me realise more is always better!
