Het there. I just bought a Norco Range VLT and I find the stock alloy bars really harsh. I am thinking to swaping to carbon RaceFace Next R's but I am slightly concerned about their strength on a 60lb bruiser. I also have a set of Diety Ridgeline alloys takeoffs that I actually haven't tried. Your thoughts are appreciated.

Cheers

The weight of the bike has does not affect the strength/durability of the bars.....unless you crash.

Otherwise it's your weight on the bars.....

Put what you want on, I personally run One Up carbon bars as its chunky around here.

What he said. Have you tried Spank bars with vibrocore? They are meant to help damp harsh vibrations.

Thanks Fellas, those both look like great options but I already have the RF bars on my Ripmo AF. I love them so my question was really what the group thought of the strength and durabilty of that particular bar and the ebike application. I probably should have been more specific.

Stick with alloy. Carbon can be a hit or miss. 31.8 vibrocore Spank bar would be my reccomendation.

I'm running the Renthal Fat Bar Lite carbon on my Decoy MX with no complaints

Only carbon every bike.

Carbon bars are the first mod that I put on all my ebikes. No issues. There are dozens of companies that make a good carbon bar.
