I am looking for a new bike to do some local trails, maybe some rail trail and ride with my kid, I am looking at a new Devinci Riff Deore but I cannot find any info, my other options would be a used bike something like GT Avalanche, Specialized Rockhopper, Norco Storm 9 or possibly a Rocky Mountain Fusion 40.
My only experience so far is a Gary Fisher Wahoo I got when I was younger that my wife rides and a Devinci Maxx which is overkill for simpler riding. I like the Riff but I can't find any information about them anywhere and I worry about buying used incase I miss something like a crack in a frame.
