EP8 motor assist stops on long climbs

When I’m on a long climb, I’m in trail mode and it seems like the assist will back down as if I’m in echo mode. I will go to boast and back to trail and that seems to help the assist kick in.

I’m not getting any erro codes so my bike shop won’t do anything about it. Is anyone having this issue?

You need to shift gears and get in the right cadence.
