2022 element for XC racing??

Size small bikes are very hard to find rigth now,
And I need a Small 29" carbon fs XC race bike for my 12 year old son.

Found a very nice Element, but I’m not convince it’s a suitable XC race bike?

He as a hardtail for shorter and smoother events. He ride Campfortune twice a week and it’s pretty Janky.

Any input on its XC racing ability would be welcome

The modern Element isn't really a race bike, but with proper XC tires it sure motors. If you are racing seriously then check out something else. This is basically a mini trail bike.
