My very built up Chromag Stylus was stolen this weekend which really sucked. My wife was super cool about insisting I replace it ASAP. I ride my Tazer 80% of the time but liked having an hardtail for riding with kids and hitting jump lines.

Yesterday I found a new old stock 2020 Slayer 29 and it followed me home. I got hooked on riding Big Bear and skypark last summer and decided not to get another hardtail because I wanted to have a bike more suitable for the bike parks.

Putting it together from some new parts and parts I had on hand here is the current build spec, anything I should do different?

Frame-2020 Slayer
Sprindex coil on stock fox shock
Wheels- Hope Fortus 35
Inserts- Procor
Tires- Minion DHF 2.6 /DHR 2.4
Fork- Z1 Bomber coil 170mm
Stem and bars 1UP
NX drivetrain
Shigura brakes 220/203
1up 180mm dropper

Funds are a bit tight as this wasnt a planned purchase so I didnt get too gucchi with the components (fork) but I think for what I want it for it will be great. Considered a 36 but I prefer coils and I read the coil Bomber is a bit more stiff than the 36 due to thicker stanchions.
