Hi Everybody,
Does anyone knows if i can use the N04C Metal Pad (W/fin) on tha BR-MT420 Caliper? Also, do you think it is going to be a lot better? According to the compatibility chart of Shimano it is not compatible, but I just want to be sure (I'm using SLX levers with those calipers and Shimano say that they are not compatible).

Thank You.

Regards,
Jose

No you can't use that combination, the shape of the caliper is the reason that pad isn't compatible, the
N04C pads wouldn't fit in the BR-MT420

Do you think is worth it to upgrade from the BR-MT420 to the BR-M7120 caliper? For my local trails the BR-MT420 are working just fine, I'm just wondering if they will hold up when i go on a trip with long downhills.
