So here's a wierd one. I have a Lyrik on my previous build. On that I ran an XT 4 pot (M8120) on a 203 rotor (SM-RT66) using a Shimano post mount adapter (SM-MA90-F203-P / PM). Was working fine. I'm just building up a new bike and bought another (used) Lyrik for this build. Moving all of the brake parts across from the other bike, they don't go together. If i tighten the post bolts down the caliper touches the rotor. I've had to pack around 2mm of shims in each post mount to get the caliper mounted. I have no idea why this is the case, can only assume it must be a tolerance issue on the new (used) fork. Any ideas i'm all ears, because honestly i have no idea?
Off the top of my head, I'd suspect either a previous owner had gone overboard with a post mount facing tool (removing too much material) or the factory made the same mistake or otherwise managed to put the surface of the post mounts too low
