Hi Friends;

I have a Framed Minnesota - 26er 4'' tires, with the QR skewer, and straight head tube. It's been a good bike for the value, but I am itching for a front fork. I have been looking, and there are a slew of cheap forks that I believe fit on Amazon, with mixed ratings of the people that think they got the deal of a lifetime, and people that ended up in the hospital from it breaking. - I'll pass on that -- I would be happy spending 300$ on something that is adequate, but safe and sturdy. I don't think I can use a bluto because of my head tube and skewer restrictions, and I was just wondering if anyone has any experience or suggestions of a fork that would work.

Thanks all

I installed one of the Amazon air forks on my Northrock XC00 (Costco) several years ago and it's been fine for the mild use I put it through. I ultimately did go with another set of wider wheels with a wider front hub and longer skewer for proper fit. The one I bought is no longer listed but it looks like they have some very similar ones for the same price which look even better.

I don't think there are any fat bike forks that don't come with a thru axle, so you would be looking at a new hub/wheel anyway.

The RST Renegade came with a straight steerer at one point IIRC
