i lifted my dropper post up and to do so i had to loosen the cable clamp on my shimano dropper remote and now i cant get my cable tension right. it is ether to tight and doesn't do anything or to loose and doesn't do anything.
I would just double check the cable housing is seated in the stopper on the both the lever and the dropper post. That should be all there is to it. If it is not seated properly, there will not be enough tension to activate the dropper mechanism.

turns out that the time the tension of the cable is released at the remote the cable end unhooks itself from the bottom of the seat pots. now i need to try and rehook the cable to the dropper
