Is there a way to identify which model a seat post is? The reverb has the vent valve and the writing of the travel on it.

If it has a vent valve it is a Reverb C1. C1 also has writing near the top of the post in a cursive looking font.

The B1 (prior version) does not have the vent valve and the writing on the post is different.

See https://bikerumor.com/hands-on-new-rockshox-reverb-tech-explained-video-overview-actual-weights/ for a comparison.

IIRC the original Reverb (A1/A2) do not have lettering on the post.

Google image search for each model will show you examples of the lettering/no lettering to help tell them apart.

Assuming you are talking just Reverb...other posts will vary depending on who manufactured it.
