Hi all,
I'm currently riding a 2019 Rocky Mountain Altitude A50 27.5 alloy - 160/150 travel. Full GX with Fox Performance level suspension and SLX 2 pot brakes.

I've got the opportunity to purchase a new bike and am considering the following:

Specialized Stumpjumper Evo Comp Alloy - 29er, 160/150 travel, NX with a GX AXS upgrade, Fox Performance level suspension & Code R 4 pot brakes.

Privateer 141 - alloy 29er, 150/141 travel, GX, Rockshox Pike ultimate * Fox Float X elite suspension & Code R 4 pot brakes.

I like the idea of moving from 27.5 to 29 wheels and also getting a bike with more progressive geometry than what the Rocky Mountain has, although the Rocky's geometry can be adjusted a bit but not to the extent of the other two. I'm torn between the Stumpy & Privateer. The specs & suspension of the Privateer nudge it just a bit ahead of the Stumpy with the exception of the GX AXS, and everything I've read or watched on the two bikes praises them for their climbing & descending performance, but perhaps gives a slight nod to the Specialized. I can also purchase the Specialised locally with likely better warranty support than the Privateer, which I'd have to get shipped half way around the world (UK to Australia).

I'm torn, and looking for advice/comments/insults/etc...
