if your going to go that route, try and avoid the deep section old style rims.
True that finding newer shapes can be the trick. I got a set of gravel rims with the same Internal width as current enve product. They were 100$ each. Laced up well. No issues 1000km in. Cheaper than a stans aluminum rim. As I was already getting thoae rims sent, I figured I should add a wheelset for my wife. Dt240 hubs cx ray spokes. I checked the build when they arrived, all spokes to proper tension. Wheel was perfectly round and true. The set was 800$ can't complain about that.
