Hi,
Has anyone tried running a 160mm marzocchi z1 on a nukeproof scout, it’s about a 20mm increase on the axle to crown over the current rockshox recon rl, interested in the differences to head angle, seat tube angle, bottom bracket height/drop etc, let me know what you’re running and how it handles,
Any help much appreciated

All I can find is 140mm for the standard and 150mm for the pro, so it's going to be outside that range. But it should work.

As there's someone out there who put 170mm lyrics on a scout.

Yeah I think Blake did but that was for the mega avalanche maybe not so appropriate for local uk stuff

True @B-foster, but it at least is somewhere to start with finding out how it fared.

As I'm thinking 10mm extra should be no real issue, but then you've the potential warranty issue with going outside of spec.

Yeah I’m pretty sure the warranty is gone now anyway, but it’s true 160 is only ten more than the pro spec

If you're out of warranty you've nothing to loose then, so I'd say go for it then.
