I have a 2021 SB115 and I pulled the shock off to have it serviced. With the shock off I noted a lot of play in the shock link. Thinking it was the link bearings, I removed the link and the bearings are fine. The issue is the sleeve which the link attaches to is loose in the frame, see photo.

Has anybody else have this problem?

If so, what was the resolution?

Thanks

I think the solution is to talk to your Yeti dealer. Pretty sure this is a warranty issue because I believe these sleeves are bonded, not pressed into the frame. I've never had an issue with mine, and I strip the frame down pretty regularly.

Best of luck.

Had a similar issue with an older Ibis Mojo HD. Over torqued the linkage bolt & it spun the insert. Ibis Bought a torque wrench after that. Had a local carbon repair guy fix it after I got the part gratis from Ibis. (Way out of warranty)

He said best way to do it is make sure the bore is slightly larger at the insertion side. Allows extra epoxy to work it's way around better. Anyway, the fix worked.
