I'm sure this has been discussed a million times but I can't find any way to search this forum. I want some sticky pedals for my SX-Trail. The stock ones aren't bad but the smooth sides, smooth topped pins aren't as sticky as some of the others i've tried.

I'm thinking about Azonic A-Frames, 5050 XX, etc. Want to make sure they survive mud, water, whatever etc.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
Spence

Go with the 5050 XX. Obviously, everybody has different preference about pedals but these one are really good and offer a nice overall for mud, waterand durability... Oh, and they are pretty light.

I have found that the Syncros mental pedals are probably the grippiest pedals out there. 5050's are allright, if you dont mind losing the little plates that bolt onto them in rock sections, they probably have half the grip of the mental. Straightline makes some really nice new ones as well, very low profile and very sexy.

They gave me instore credit so I thought why not?

Burgtec Penthouse Flats

simply put.. I ride a hardtail. I rode it down morzine and les gets and plenney. My feet did not come off once.

although they are expensive, now I have them I would say they are simply the best pedals I have rode.

Agreed, they feel great under the feet, but be advised, they don't feel as great on the chins...

I've ran Easton Flatboys for three seasons now and they still work amazing. They may not be the coolest looking pedals but they are really sweet.

i like my primo pedals, they have a lot of grip, they will never break, and they look stylin

they are REALLY sticky even when its soaking wet the spikes are good and well placed

most people wont consider them the best but they are about $40 and will never break, also they come in most normal anodized colours. ill probly get at least comment askin why i mentiond em, but i think they KICK ASS.
