I've used all the travel options for both 210/50 and 210/55 and have settled on 150mm paired with a 140mm 36 fitted with a Luftkappe. Flat pedal strikes were too frequent in my rocky terrain, so I moved to 152mm Trailcraft cranks--problem solved. My rides are mostly rips/jump sessions and I take full advantage of VPP's pop. Frame might deserve a better shock than the stock Select+ (which can be converted to 55mm) but definitely deserves a fork with a stouter chassis. If I were less satisfied I'd fit a 150mm Mezzer Pro and tweak the air springs to make it real soft off the top. I'm 6' and ride a Medium for maximum maneuverability, 50mm slammed stem and 50mm riser--complicated enough? The trick rocker is on sale presently--$236
