Hello seeing if anyone has any help. So I currently have 3 sets of shimano pedals. Xtr 9120, Saint clipless and just picked up some xt 8100.
I keep sending the 9120 xtr’s back for warranty claims and decided to pick up some xt 8100.
I’ve noticed the new xt 8100 have much more lateral play than the others. At least double the amount. Is that normal or should I send them back? I feel too disconnected from the pedals with all that float.

Are they the XC or trail ones(one with cage) I noticed the XT trail spds, 8120's had a icy feeling where felt like you were standing on metal to metal point contact

Yes the xc ones. After using for a week I’m used to it now. But my cage 9120 and saints definitely don’t have that feeling.
