Shop called this afternoon saying the new bike was ready. All non-stock parts from the old bike swapped to the new one and I only owe them for the tire sealant.

They’re getting paid by Specialized for swapping parts, plus I paid them for a 2 year service plan. But yes, many thanks are due. I’ll be dropping off a Christmas gift of some kind when I pick up the bike. And a case of cold ones or something.

I will say the amount specialized gives is usually far lower than the amount of time it takes and how much they’d usually charge.

Given the time of year and the amount of snow we’ve had this year, I’m sure they’re glad to have the work at all. I went in today to pick up the new Levo and they didn’t have a single bike up in the stands. Now I feel like I need to take my other bike in just to give them something to do, even though it doesn’t need any work done.
