I bought a crankset April 16 through the PinkBike buy/sell. It's a user who has sold many items already. Since I paid him, I haven't heard back from him. I've tried to contact him a couple times asking for a tracking number, but haven't received a response.

How long should I reasonably wait before opening a PayPal dispute?

Seller history is not an indicator you should trust. Scammers have hijacked old accounts to trick buyers.

Recommend asking this same question in the Report Scammers thread and include the seller's page URL so the forum can try to figure out if it's definitely a scam.
