Specialized P4?

Hi,

I come from MTB and had been riding dirt jumps for the last 6-7 years. Not the best trickster out there but I can ride most DJ lines and still learning how to boost, etc. (sure I suck compared to most of you).

I’ve been riding the Commençal Absolut for the last 3 - 4 years now, size L. Unfortunately I cracked the chain stays the other day and have to replace it.

Was thinking about buying the same frame but have some friends working on Specialized store and went to give a sight to their bikes. Tried the P3 at the dirt jumps but felt way too small for me (I’m 6 ft) compared to the Absolut.

Then went to the shop and step on the P4 and to be honest don’t know. The bike is nice but not sure about the 27.5 wheels. I don’t usually ride skate park but I do in steep dirt jumps and pumptracks. It’s compatible with 26 wheels but maybe those 1,3 extra long cm is too much?

Maybe I’m overthinking about it but what’s your opinion?

Get a bike with 26” wheels unless you just ride pump tracks

Take the frame to a welder and have it welded and sleeved or however its fixed ‍♂️
