if you're climbing, then Preston.
EDIT: wait how much money do you even have? cuz if you have enough you could get yourself a Preston with a Fox 36 Talas, or w/e the lightest one is.

EDIT of EDIT: and look at the buy and sell. there is some good stuff there.

I would get whatever feels the best. There is no "best bike". It depends on your style and what you are doing. One of my friends has a bottlerocket and it really can do everything from xc to dh.

Disregard this statment as he made no effort to back his opinion with an acutual reason to get a BR.

i have a trek session 7 and there are a pretty hevy bike but ride amazingly but its all about wheight these days so try to find how lite all the bikes are and compare them to what you like doing. Bottle rocket is for slopestyle/dirt jumps and trek is for dh fr and slopestyle but not just dirt jumps

honestly, if you're going to be doing some climbing, don't get the session. The high front end will make climbing a bit of a pain. The BR is really a slopestyle bike, and while I love the one i rode, it does have a lot of pedal bob. If you've got to climb the preston FR is the best, it can bomb down the other side pretty well too.
