I have a medium 2006 V-10 and weighs 37.5 lbs when I race and a bit more with my non-race parts. If I had more money to sink into it I could prob get down to 36 lbs.
Well this is what I get to huck my leg over when I ride. It is an 06, Ano red. set up with ... 06 Fox 40 RC2 Hayes HFX (soon to be changed) Bars and seat post, Easton EA50 stem Truvativ Holzfeller grips, Odie Intense loc-ons headset- FSA DH Pig pedals Crank Bros. 50/50 XX with super long pins Race Face north shore cranks (soon to be changed) MRP Guide shock 5th element SRAM X.O shifter/derailer Hadley Hubs DT Champion Spokes Supra BH Rims (soon to be changed) Intense 909 tires 2.7 fron, 2.5 rear
If anybody has some ideas of things that they think might work on this bike feel free to let me know as I hope to be changing a bunch of components this season. All this weighed in at just under 44lbs.
07 gangreen 40rc2 and dhx 5.0 Juicy Carbon Brakes E13 srs guide x9 drivetrain(cheaper to replace when I break them) mavic 729 rims dt swiss spokes chris king front hub silver hugi freeride rear hub black thomson stem and post wtb saddle odi ruffian grips easton monkeylite carbon bar maxxis minion dhf front maxxis highroller rear truvativ oct cranks with crankbrother mallet c pedal
I think that is it the only change I am gonna make is ti spring on rear should cut .5 lbs will be under 41 lbs also thinking of tubeless could get under 40.

run a fox DHX 5 in the rear, much superior to the 5th element, Truvativ hollzfeller cranks are what I'm rollin with, they are pretty good. Mavic 721s would be my choice for rims.
