Evening all...

Before I begin I will clarify I'm a neewb searching for answers...

So, basically I used to ride casually many years ago. After a recent camping wknd which involved a lot of Trail/XC riding I got the bug for it again. After searching for a new companion my friend offered me his old Kona Howler 07 for free... Frame, rear end but everything else is bare! I'm aware this is a x4/DH/FR bike. But as I'm wanting to keep it and because it was free I'd like to build it. What would your parts list consist of in order to make it more XC/Trail specific? Your recommendations would be greatly received....

Thanks in advance!
