I’m still running 2 Uzzi VPs and love them. One of them is running 26”s with 124mm Fox Float 36 on the front and Bos Vip’r on the back! The other is running 27,5”s and has two setups: one using cane creek DB Air CS with piggyback and Bos Deville 160mm on the front; the other using Manitou Dorado Air 200mm fork and Fox DHX4 “Pushed” with Ti spring on the back. Completely different rides from each other and all of them super fun.

Anyone have a medium Uzzi in works blue they want to get rid of? Prefer just the frame.

That back tire looks tiiiiiiiight. Maybe a 2.4 in the back would give more appropriate space?

Sweet looking build though, it’s fun to see people still building these.

Once ran an intruder tyre out back in my spider alloy

Literally rubbed every part of rear end

It is Tiiiiiiight.... I think the kids these day call it "Fitment"? lol
The width is fine, it's the ballooning OD that's the kicker, I have less than 1/4" & on my first big ride I caught some small rocks in the tread that left their mark. I wanted to run a 2.4 but picked up a basically new set of 27.5, 35mm ID wheels used & didn't want to run a tire that square on rough terrain, as it is I'm still running a Tannus insert in the rear.

I have a 26" rear wheel but it's had a hard life, the hub bearings need replaced along with the rim. Eventually i'll build it up with a 2.5 & have a mini mullet with a ~62.8 HTA.
