if you want a bike purely for dirtjumping 24's on a specific frame is so much better than 26". Better acceleration, more "flickable", more manoeuvrable, fits better into transitions, lighter, stronger...

using my brothers bikes as an example, heres what dj bikes SHOULD look like! Big Grin

it would be uneven in the transitions and really weird to thro around

but it would be easier to get the front end up in a manual or wheelie

yes to both of those.

its hard to get alot of ''pop'' when hitting a jump.

24-26 is retarded. makes your bike slack and bb high and feels crap. your wheels are spinning at different rates wich is wierd. just ride 24 24. even 26 26 is better

I am not very big and I run a size small rocky flow dj. I was wondering if 24 would be better for the bike and for my size? also I would like to be able to barspin wothout my tire hitting the pedal.

26 is too trendy for most people not to run. i think alot of the reason why north americans ride 26" wheels is because they dont ride so much proper trails, wheras over here there are lots of great trails in such a small area. it seems dirtjumping over there is more about slopestyle type stuff
