I agree theya re different looks but they are probably one of the best stems you can get right now? Super light really innovative look cool to some and to others jsut makes your bike stand out. Get it!

I'm currently running the V2 version of the Elementary stem. as long as you follow the instructions, and torque up the bolt to the right values, it'll be fine, and be prepared to re-tighten the bolt the first couple of rides as it beds in.

The Original version of the stem had a tendancy to slip slightly, mostly due to people fitting it wrong (not greasing the wedge faces being the most common fault).

They've now released a V3 stem, which is even lighter. Still the same design, just with more cut out. I'd say get ittup

My bars slipped a couple of times during the first 2 or 3 rides, not much, but enough to notice, but after torqueing the bolt back up, and checking it for the few rides after that I've had no problems since.

and yeah, I'm with drewfunk. the deceptikon is gayBeer
