what do people think of the new 2008
kona shucky as a dirt jump frame

I saw the picture in the 08 catalogue, of the frame itself, and I was suprprize that didn't talked about it very much.

The frame is nice, looks like all the other cro-mo frame, just a different paintjob. They just wanted to market with this street/dj frame.

The frame weights 5.6 pounds
and the chain stay is 16.2 same as the all the dirtjump series for kona
and will be selling for 350 as mentoned before
but will not be ready to ship for a few months

are u shure the chainstays are still 16.2 cuz if they r that is gay
no hate on kona but they should get the point that their chainstays are way to long by now

I got my local bike store to phone them up. And all they told them was that there were the same as the other frame chainstays i agree there to long.

its about f*cking time! finally they have a bike with horizontal drop outs and steel...took em long enough! looks like there pulling there thumbs outta their asses and responding to what users are asking.. (stinky with SC/AIR)
congratulations.

Agreed. How could Kona be so deaf to what people want in a bike? If they are going to continue making bikes the way they do (or did) they're gunna go broke soon. Funny how such a big bike comopany isn't able to catch onto what's going on out in the riding scene. Do your homework Kona!

O+
