Clearly, I'm not the guy in charge of taking the group photo...

Many photo apps attempt to create false depth of field by progressively blurring the foreground and background. It can be a pleasing effect that highlights the photo's subject, but usually results in artifacts, especially regions that are in sharper focus than their surroundings.

A Stem I made from 6061. Manually milled. Decided to have a go making it for a dirt jumper build. Wanting to have a stab at making my own DH frame soon too. Some awesome stuff on this forum!

I have Cane Creek double barrel inline coil shock and it takes springs up to 140mm free length. It was hard and expensive to find a correct lengt 550-600lbs spring to the shock so I decided to file more ID to Elka`s spring.
More ID for Elka

DIY progressive coil

In my early bike experimenting/hacking days I progressivized my fork's coil. Worked pretty well.

does anyone know what the plastic bit at the bottom of a coil shocks called or does anyone know a way of cutting it for more travel or can anyone tell me how to increase the travel on my 2020 fox dhx2 elite rvs

O+

I assume you mean the bottom out bumper. Do not cut that away unless you want to damage your shock or possibly your frame.

I do not believe that the travel spacers are external on a coil shock but I could be wrong.

I agree ^ that sounds like you're bottom out bumper. Most frames wont accommodate changing stroke lengths on your shock. They're designed with that length and stroke for a reason. I wouldnt mess with it unless you are 100% sure your frame was made to accept different length shocks. Catastrophic failure of frame and shock can happen.

What size dhx2 do you have and what do you want to increase the stroke to?

The outside, with a belt grinder.
