Gonna do a trail bike day Friday. Planning on doing the mystic-lord of squirrels loop, will that be worth doing if the scheduled rain happens? What's a good rainy day option if not?

Eric

If it rains, expect snow up high on Sproatt. You do the math.

As nickel said, expect snow up high (or at least very cold rain)... would not be fun to be out for 4-5 hours in that in my opinion, plus no views, which is half the fun of LOTS.

I would do laps of either the west side trails like Pura Vida, Working Class etc. or go to Cheakamus and do Duncans, Tunnel Vision etc. That way if the weather turns really bad you can bail after one lap, and if not, just keep riding.

A huge part of the lord of the squirrels loop is the views, definitely want to do it on a nice day! And committing to such a huge loop when you might get wet/cold isn't the best idea TBH. Do it tomorrow!

also wet lap options; the stuff around cheakamus can be good (highside, duncans/it's business time, tunnel vision), yummy nummy/foreplay is good as it's lots of rock, billy's epic or howler are usually sweet in the wet too

So I was in whistler for the past week, and my only question is how the hell do some people who live there full time manage to survive while working and riding the bike park all day? How do they not run out of money?

dirtbag lifestyle. Rent a room in a house for 900 a month, sell your car, get real frugal, work evening or weekend jobs and pound in midweek laps. but yeah... its ridiculous really.

So does anyone know, or can guess the dimensions on the Aline double, just after the bridge under Easy-does-it?
