so I just ordered a 2008 Santa Cruz Bullit with the spx fr 1.5 kit, dhx 5 coil shock, and rockshox domain fork. I have always wanted to build my own bike. I think I can handle it, I am planning on taking it to a lbs to have the headset pressed and bb installed, also taking the wheels in to have them checked out. I think I am can handle installing the fork, brakes, cranks, chainguide, freewheel, and derauilers. just wanted to know what people think, and if there are anythings I am forgetting. I would also like to hear from anyone who has put together a bullit before, like to know what to look out for if anything.

the fork isnt as easy as it seems.
the steer tube can f*ck you over.
if u never did it be4 i would risk it
because when you cut the steer tube you can cut it too short by accident and your fork is finished.

If you can then there's something wrong with your frame. It requires a fair amount of force applied to install.

2x4 + hammer = cheap, possibly free headset press.
