I love the Scuds. So sexy. I really want one. Also like the Porsches and don't mind the previous generation M3s.

E46 M3s are sweet, although I don't think they don't sound very good with loud exhaust systems. I'm from Portland Oregon and we have the most respected place in the world to get them twin turbo'd (Horsepower Freaks). I saw one being dyno'd one day when I was picking up a part I ordered and the owner's face when the car hit full boost was priceless. What I don't get is how the SMG transmissions can handle that much power without breaking because a stage 3 HPF M3 is around 950RWHP. I guess I'm comparing this to the E-Gear transmissions that are in the Gallardos because Heffner can't twin turbo them, you must have the regular 6-speed. Any ideas on why this is the case? If you put a bigger snail on the new twin-clutch evo will the transmission eventually give?

I think the way it works is that in most cars the parts have a hp rating, like how many hp they can take before breaking. Try to see what the HP rating for the tranny is, as for the engine, you would probably want to get new injectors to keep up with the engine as well as other parts. Its not as simple as throwing on a turbo as you probably kno you have to upgrade everything else with it.

No luck in finding the transmission rating of the SMG. On the website the only requirement transmission wise for the kit is a stage 3 clutch but that is for the regular 6-speed. I guess maybe the SMG transmission are very durable.

im guessing it can handle quite a bit especially with a stage 3 clutch
