We've gotten rained out a few times at Bromont. Usually if theres a big rainstorm overnight-early morning before 10am, they sometimes shut down for the day. If the lifts spinning, though, it usually takes a good 15-30mins of heavy rain to close it. Thunder obviously shuts things down for 20-30mins. Never had the lift stop if its a light rain, though.
Just be aware the lift line is much longer than usual due to covid 19 precautions
I've never been before so I don't have a point of reference. Went to my local bike park this season and it was 30 minute wait for 2 minute descents, so surely Bromont will be a significant improvement lol
The Lakeside lift is usually shorter, and the lift is much faster. Bring a mask if you're riding with someone, and you can board 2 people. Village side is still 1 person at a time, which leads to a much longer line.
To add to the list of tech trails:#19, #23, #58. Exploring might reward you with finding a couple secret tracks too. There's easily over a dozen, and they're all very gnarly.
For all the regular Bromont riders, what's a good progression into the double blacks? Most other parks have a chart thats works its way up in difficulty where your on your own at Bromont. Any suggestions for where to start getting into the tougher terrain?

Spent 3 days there after sticking to mostly single blacks on my other trips. Did 59 to 59b then 9 and lower 18. Also did 20 and felt pretty comfortable. Chair lift friend convinced me to try 18 and towed me into 18 to 58 and 58 handed my ass to me. Ouch. What a great time and a great park. Back again in 2 weeks.
