Ok, I have a question, right now i have raceface evolve dh cranks and i have the bb in the pic https://www.pinkbike.com/photo/1902004/ and i was wanting to buy a 3 piece cranks set so i can get a sprocket. And I was wondering if I got this cranks set http://www.danscomp.com/452510.php?cat=PARTS and would the spindle just slide in and work normal.--Thanks

No. You need a 19mm spindle BB for those cranks, it isnt compatible with RF x-type.

Yes. Click their "need a BB to complete your crankset" link, and use any euro 19mm spindle bb you want.

except bmx euro bb's suck, the bearings are tiny and grind to dust in no time, why do you think mtb's have adopted outboard bb's to use bigger bearings and bmx's have started using spanish and mid bb's. it's actually a really easy swap that any bike shop could do for you that will allow you to run a somewhat decent bb on your mtb.

all you need to do is get what ever crankset you want but order it in the spanish bb option rather than the euro bb option, then get your lbs to swap the bearings in your x-type bb for the spanish ones and then BAM!, you have a euro to spanish bb much like the one's fly used to make (that are near impossible to track down nowadays)untill euro bb's became obsolete in the bmx world.
